Classes: Metal Clay Jewelry for Beginners

During a typical semester, students learn the process of making jewelry using Metal Clay. No previous knowledge or experience is required and students have lots of fun creating stunning pieces.

Metal Clay is a unique crafting medium made of microscopic metal particles mixed with an organic binder and water. It’s easy to use, fun, non-toxic and is safe to work with one’s hands. The clay is pliable, providing great ease in designing, molding, stamping and carving. Once the clay has dried, it is then fired in a kiln.  During the firing process the organic binder burns away leaving pure sintered metal.

Tuition includes:

  • All tools and materials.

  • Post workshop firing and finishing, basic findings included.

  • Metal clay is not included…price will vary with either silver or bronze.
